Casimir Ferrer was born in 1946 in Trebas, near Albi, Toulouse-Lautrec's native city.
Self-taught, he has learned all the techniques of painting and sculpting. A Ferrer work grabs you and creates an unimaginable imagination that slumbers in each of us. The forcefully striking effect releases true emotional vibrations that appear to burst from the painting. Better yet, this nimble-fingered seeker founded "concretism", a new technique of mixed medis that melds painting and sculpture in the same work. He dared pursue the painting's story by adding sculpted dimension of bronze and glass in a subtle balance of shapes and colors, mass and volume. A new art is born.
