Jean-Baptiste VALADIE was born in 1933 in Brives-La-Gaillarde (Corrèze).
In 1955 he got qualified at the Parisian School of Applied Arts and from 1956 on , he achieved a series of exhibitions in France(Paris ,Cannes, Deauville ,Lille , Saint-Tropez , Bordeaux , Toulon …) and abroad (Geneva , London , Johannesburg , Sydney , Washington , Brussels…).
He participated in many shows("Painters Witnesses of their Time" ,"Autumn Show"…) and he illustrated many literary works (Giono , Saint-Exupéry , Beaudelaire , Verlaine , Rimbaud , Ronsard, Pagnol , Maupassant…).
His paintings , drawings , engravements and lithographs generally express feminine purity and grace which are underlined by a graphic skilfulness very peculiar to JEAN-BAPTISTE VALADIE.
Many times awarded , he is nowadays an ackowledged artist whose work appears in many collections. ...
