Zamy Steynovitz (January 15, 1951 - September 1, 2000) was an Israeli impressionist painter.
Zamy Steynovitz is one of the most popular Israelian artist. He has now studios both in New York and Tel Aviv.
Widely exhibited, he has been honored by Heads of State throughout the world. His works have been presented to President Jimmy Carter, Prime Minister Begin, Pope John Paul II and the Dalai Lama.
He is an ambassador of peace and his works speak of love, joyousness, the sanctity of family life and all creation. some of his works suggest the magic of Chagall, brought into the colors and style of the 1990's.
He was commissioned to do the official portrait of peace for the proposals between Israel and Egypt in 1977. ...
