DESCRIPTION :
Color lithography realized after Rene Magritte's painting "Le Fils de l'Homme (The Son of the Man), 1964", numbered and signed, extracted from the portfolio of 16 lithographs "Magritte Lithographies VI" 2010.
- This is numbered 126 from a limited edition of 300.
- Published by Magritte Gallery, Philippe Moreno (Artvalue.com).
- Printed by ateliers d'Art-Lithographies, Paris.
The lithographs features the blind stamps of the Magritte Foundation & ADAGP and is signed in pencil by Mr. Charly Herscovici, President of the Magritte Foundation, Chairman of the Magritte Museum and representing the Magritte Succession, the stamped signature "MAGRITTE".

Edition Size:
- 300 copies numbered 1/300 to 300/300 on vellum Rives paper.
- 45 copies of tribute, annotated EA and numbered from 1 to 45 of which 15 reserved for the Succession Magritte.
The edition size is printed to the back of the lithography.

Le Fils de l'Homme (The Son of the Man), 1964 - Oil painting on cavas, 116 X 89 cm.
One of the works the most known for Magritte "The Son of the man" use the apple, the recurring fruit in the painting of the artist, to hide the face of a character. The metaphor symbolizes that any knowledge and any revelation are partial and that the deep knowledge of the truth is denied to the man.
