Jean-Paul Donadini is a French painter who was born in Troyes, France, in 1951.
He works and lives in Paris.
He graduated from the Ecoles de Beaux Arts of Troyes in 1971, Nancy in 1973 and Paris in 1976.
Donadini redefines the very essence of still life painting, showing an incredible technical mastery. His paintings are highly pertinent interpretations of his abstract reveries, conveying different meanings according to the varying subjects.
The grace of his shapes, the brightness of colors, as well as the sense of eternity, conveyed by a magnetic power of attraction, are his characteristic traits.
Donadini finds inspiration in the beauty of this world, so ephemeral and fragile. The viewer’s eye is at the same time deceived and invited to take part in the act of creation.
Donadini has organized several personal exhibitions in France and abroad in places such as London, New York, Miami, Chicago, Istanbul, Dubai, Seoul, Singapore, Hong-Kong, and Paris.
